"PALMS" Gulf-View Historic Beachside Cottage 2/1

This property is wonderful! If you like the feel of "old Florida", this is the beach and the place for you. This older-style house has been lovingly divided into several apartments that feel like home. We were much closer to the beach than we thought we would be; Simply walk through a private parking area and you are on white sand.The deck that ran the length of our apartment was lovely and enclosed by a gate, so we could let our dog off-leash. Sunset was visible between the buildings, as well as the ocean and beach. On the opposite side of the main bedroom was a small porch where you could watch the first light of day appear. Blinds were effective at keeping sunlight out if you wanted to sleep late.Everything we needed was there: beach chairs, a cooler, and shade. The kitchen is well stocked if you plan to cook. The main road is beside you, but they have done a good job with mature plantings around the pool area. And on this island, everything seems to be beside this road! The host was very responsive, and the property manager was a delight. Loved our stay!

Perfect location for our sisters getaway - literally 150 steps from the beach! Jude was a very friendly and responsive host. The apartment was even nicer than expected - very clean and spacious. We especially loved the large deck and spent a lot of time there enjoying the nice weather and view of the ocean. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely recommend!

This was a wonderful place to stay. I dream of returning. The location was so nice, the property was so tranquil, the condo was comfortable and well decorated, well stocked, brand new appliances and deck.The property manager was a sweetheart who did little things for us that really made us feel welcomed and appreciated. The view from the deck at sunset was priceless! The walk to the beach was only about 10 steps. The bedrooms were very spacious, the beautiful sunlight pours into the place from every direction throughout the day, feels so beachy inside. I would permanently live here if I could. Details of the space: two large master bedrooms, one with a much larger closet, the other with more sitting space and almost a small living room in it. The room with the larger closet has French doors to the deck. The deck has a couch and coffee table set up, and a dining table with chairs looking out to sea. This room has an additional balcony overlooking the pool. The kitchen area has an induction stove and fancy convection oven/microwave, a large sink and refrigerator. There is not a dishwasher or conventional oven. There is a Keurig coffee maker, they gave us many coffee pods, tea bags, half and half cups and bottled water in the fridge. There was fresh ice in the freezer, tons of new silverware, cooking and serving utensils, cups, glasses, plates, new everything! Everything you could need or want is here in this condo. Bathroom stocked, decorations beautiful, linens ample/soft!
